dang, your muscles and/or cns must be insanely strong for their mass to achieve it while looking fairly skinny, most people i see doing controlled muscle ups are ripped. im still stuck on ring muscle ups and they already feel really hard to achieve, great job!

@@GeekClimber i barely get the transition but then im too gased for the push/dip part, i think im just too weak at pushing (had a snowboarding injury fuck up my shoulder pretty bad earlier this year) so i will be training deep ring dips and see how it goes. on explosive bar muscle up i relied mostly on a really high explosive pullup to get the muscle up so i didnt even have to push much at all. love your channel man keep it up.

I am pretty good at pullups, I can do about 15 slow and controlled in a row, but I just realized that I am using only my fingers. I'm going to try this false grip technique you used and see what it does for me. Thanks for the video!

I have a bit of golfer's elbow hindering the progress though, but I can hang from a bar for a few seconds with closed fists. I guess I have to work the progressions. Just started calisthenics in Aug, can do 3-4 pullups and my max hang time was 56 sec with a weighted vest.
