Darjeeling is known as the queen of hills. It's in West Bengal state of India. And the toy train is declared a world Heritage site

At 2:54 look at that mountain. That is not ordinary mountain. That is Kanchanjanga the third highest mountain in planet 8598 meters. Only 250 meter less than Mount Everest.

Hi guys, l I live in the state of West Bengal, and Darjeeling is a hill station located towards the northern edge of the state in the foothills of the Himalayas. It was the summer capital/ retreat of the Brits when Calcutta was erstwhile the capital of the British Raj in India. Although I haven't visited it yet but would love to!

Im a local lad and Darjeeling is one of the most visited tourist hub in India,for the fact it is also the first city to have received the first electricity facilitiy in all over india,the place is widely covered with widely covered pine trees and forests which includes wildlife sanctuaries.Other than that Darjeeling was once Britisher’s favourite escape especially due to the cooler weather during colonial days and thus you will find aslo the British architectures and heritage churches too.Two things that marks Darjeeling on the world map is the tea it produces one of the worlds most expensive tea and the british world heritage the toy train (steam engine).Talking about the locals they are the most humble and friendliest people here.Big thumbs up for the video 👏🏼🙏🏼

The train you seen whistling is called Toy Train. It uses a very very old antique steam engine and runs on narrow gage rail line. Its in the UNESCO heritage list. Its specially maintained for tourists to ride to go to darjeeling from siliguri while eating the beauty of nature with the eyes.

I live in a city near Darjeeling. The circular bridge, called Coronation Bridge is on the outskirts of my hometown, Siliguri. The fork with the three rivers meeting is near the bridge and is called the Triveni. It is a wonderful place for whitewater rafting. You could also camp out on the banks of the river. I believe the pine forested park at 2:34 is Lamahatta, if I remember correctly. It is a beautiful region, I can attest for that.
