@@skidmark7845 depends on where you mounted the camera, we had a few typhoon/hurricanes and those footage was pretty unwatchable, but any debris on the camera didn't stick and most importantly the camera was still in position even though it was using a strap. When there were heavy rain sometimes raindrops blurred the lenses but you can pan/tilt it to shake it off.

Reolink said it wont be avaliable in US til Sept? Also what is the best cellular provider to use with it? I plan to set mine up on a boat dock to monitor my property. I use verizon for my cell phone so Im not sure how good tmobile is. Also, wondering how much data would cost per yr? I dont see myself using the data as much as I would in my home. I would mainly need to use it for purposes of someone vandalizing my property & to check once per day for a min or two. Also, I want it to be totally maintenance free as far as power is concerned as this will be in a remote location.

I recommend watching my review as I go into how much data I have used with my periodic checking, but which carrier you go with depends on where you are. T-Mobile in Iowa is a pretty good play, but AT&T would work too.

@@GeekSmart I watched your review it looks like exactly the kind of camera I need. I tried looking into the Arlo GO camera but it cannot tilt or pan and it costs almost 399 dollars w/o a solar panel. By having tilt and pan I will only need one camera vs needing 2 to monitor the area I need it in..However, are there any plans where you can buy on a per yr basis or even setup it up so you do not have to ever fool with the sim card? I plan to install this is a high location on top of a piling by my dock & property. So I would like to have a sim card that can work indefinitely instead of having to change it out all the time. I would like to have it running nonstop & thinking that would be cheaper than doing month by month. Im going to be using it in the same way you do to just periodically check on my property and boats to make sure noone is stealing or using my water/electricity. Also, can you save video thru your phone or computer? I do not want to have to use sd cards as again I plan to mount this in a high area & once I set it I do not want to ever have to fool with it again!
