Hall affect sticks for shooting games are not as good,trust,I've played with hall effect sticks and I didn't like the delay,however it wasn't standard I had someone install them . But I prefer the normal to hall effect far more responsive at snapping back crosshair.

I spend close to 400$ for my scuf controller and the tigger stop broke and I was getting stick drifts and they said my warranty was over and it might cost a lot to replace them… fk them, their trigger stop is so trash! This only have two back button so that a bummer but I love these so much.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet: but you can actually position the longer back paddles in two orientations. I found the default horizontal to be rather difficult in games like Rocket League where they are very easy to accidentally activate. You can actually turn them laterally so they stick out from the bottom, allowing you to still fully grip the controller!

Here's something you need to know, it's a great controller but the white rubber panels on the back will discolor bubble and peel. I had to get an extreme rate replacement cover.

Guys, it's a great controller, but it is expensive. Even the replacement modules are expensive, 3 of'em and you get a new dual sense. All you have to do is compare it to other controllers at the same price, and see how it lacks "pro features", like 4 back bumpers, and more stick configs, but keeps at the same price, while reduces dual sense battery. It absolutely is.

I like the PS5 controller the best although I've played PlayStation my entire life and I like PlayStation more than any console. I just bought a PS5 in January of 2023 and I love it. I just love the controller because there's so much feedback there's a lot of rumbling and when you press down you can fill pressing down it's really the best controller

yeah dualsense quickly became my favorite controller by a long shot. the slightly larger design feels so solid in the hands, and it’s kept it’s premium feel. battery life on the standard ones is also really really impressive.

Or 2021 Acer Nitro 28” 2160p 4k 120hz both currently on sale for $600CAD ($300 off). Because you can down scale them to those specs & still take advantage of new / future gaming. Or if you really are looking for lower; LG 850-B (old) or new Sony Inzone M3 27” might be exactly what you’re looking for about that price without a sale. Good luck, dude,

It's also massively overpriced, the battery is weaker to make it a bit lighter, the plastics they use are of a cheaper material to save on cost and instead of offering the new driftless sticks, they offer a way to keep replacing them so you have to keep buying them.

stick drift is inevitable on any controller, it isnt just a sony problem. id argue sony actually has the least amount of stick drift out of both xbox and nintendo, so a solution such as this is nice to see

I’d rather pay 20 bucks to replace the one left stick module that always ends up with drift every 2 years or so for 20. Then buy a completely new controller at 70 each time. You’ll eventually get your money worth if you take care of the controller itself.

In reality you can't avoid stick drift due to the way potentiometers are designed.... your controller is either going to get stick drift or it isnt.... at least this way you can get a guaranteed simple fix (because stick drift isn't always a simple fix)

@Yung Messiahs because they did it first, and did it better.... this is clearly Sony trying to mimic Microsoft, and it's a pretty hard fail compared to Microsofts version... the only pro I see over the elite series 2 is the replaceable joystick modules which is pretty dope not gonna lie

It's honestly good and the half-dome back-buttons are AMAZING.. however, I returned it. The controller is too heavy & too expensive for what you get. Also, that lock thing for the cable is honestly pointless & just a gimmick to fill out the box with an extra thing, which is just basic plastic.

I think for the price of this controller there needs to be licensed software that comes WITH the product, and there should be two more paddles on the back. Having to struggle with DSX & then only having two back paddles makes me & my wallet sad.
