Cap and Austin you really need to watch Hannibal the sequel to silence of the lambs.. its one of the best sequals ever made..

I'm not the biggest fan of the Hannibal sequel, but there is a lot to like about it. It's just a shame we never got another sequel.

What did you think of Julianne Moore as Clarice? I prefer Jodie Foster in the role, but I did think Julianne Moore was a good choice and a decent replacement.

The Hannibal TV show loosely adapts red dragon and parts Hannibal all be it in different order from the films and ends with the introduction of Clarice starling so the next season would have been silence of the lambs.

I’ve never seen it. I read about 100 pages of the book, put it down and fell off it. I was enjoying it, some day I’ll go back and finish it.

I thought that being that you, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but thought you at least liked A Face in a Crowd (1957), you might enjoy Misery with the association of being a storyteller. Like Silence of the Lambs, I've only seen in once many years ago, but, even though I thought Psycho was the greatest, I thought it might be my favorite. However, I do like the spiritual warfare aspect of Nosferatu (1922) to not "Knock, Knock, let the devil in" (Knock was the name of the real estate agent who opened the path to darkness to people) which you guys kinda maybe saw a bit, to say the least, deeper in "The Exorcist" which I really enjoyed your commentary, and then, I think it had a good message of self-sacrificial love being a more powerful light than the darkness; and also, to remember while there are material horrors like the plague, the greater focus to attend to, imo, is spiritual warfare. Curious what you'd think of this year's Nefarious (2023). I think that might be up there with Misery, Nosferatu, Terminator, maybe this one, and the 1931/1932 Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. And maybe the Shining which I liked hearing Austin's thoughts on that! haha Hope you and your family have a wonderful Halloween!
