this is so amazing because the thing he was known for before this was Diary of a Wimpy Kid and he couldn't really have been taken seriously from that, but now he's got this big role in the amazing show and everyone loves him. he can finally talk about things during interviews other than kids running around in their underwear on set. so proud of him ☺️

jasper is such a strong, patient character. People say they want him to be killed off, but it's so important that he isn't? I'm PISSED they killed off Maya, i could really see a future with her and Jasper; they would find a way to make it happen. Her death impacted Jasper in such a realistic way, and people go through that and it's important to show that the people who are more laid back and don't always take things seriously can go through such strong, immediate feelings.

Jasper was just the worst character on the 100. He was selfish and always made the wrong choice no matter what challenge he was faced with. Maybe Rothenberg wanted the audience to have a character that was universally hated. He never became a strong person that this actor thinks he was.
