I switched to the Ultra2 last year and the fact that I no longer need to worry about the screen getting scratched up makes the Series 10 completely invaluable for me. I've used it without any screen protector and use it at the gym 6 days a week and it still looks like it did on Day 1. Meanwhile, my older Series 7 had so many micro-scratches within days that I always had to use a screen protector and the day I was selling it off, I took off that protector and realized that I never actually experienced the goodness of that screen. I'm never buying a glass display watch. Sapphire is the way to go! I hope that future iPhones get Sapphire displays as well.

Series 10 does not get scratches. I am heavily using and it is on my wrist every day wear it when I am sleeping. Do exercise and running with it. It gets dust also when I am outside I come home and use microfiber cloth to remove dust even then those dust particles do not scratch the screen. I wanted to buy ultra 2 but it is way too bulky.

Fully agree the vo2 max part. Have been using this feature with apple watch se, series 8 and now ultra 2. Every time getting a score of around 31 where as my galaxy watch shows 40+. Apple news to fix this asap. Found some solution when searched online.. I) delete all vo2 max readings so far taken by apple watch Ii) manually input a value which you think correct for you. (Ideally clinically validated) Apple watch should show correct reading afterwards.

I am very happy with my 42mm s10. Gps + cellular...my first apple watch The small one looks very good on small wrists like me... The big one doesn't look like a watch on hand... One thing i wanna say.. If you really leave your phone in house while u go out... Or heavy mobile user where ur phone battery runs out then only go for cellular otherwise save ur money.. Yeah you have to replace the watch, I have seen users using 4+ years a single apple watch, so I would say you have to replace it after 4-5 odd years coz by then the battery life would be pretty slow.

I am getting terrific excellent battery life on the iPhone 16 Pro (128 GB) and have updated to the 18.0.1 btw did you do a fresh install or an migration from older phone. Generally what I noticed is that fresh installs give better life on iPhones instead of restoring from backups.

great review , I have something to say about the vo2 max measures. my husband and daughter have both astma and because of that it gives very low readings, even my husband is in great shape and workout daily it gives low readings. my vo2 measuments are always much higher because I don't have astma. sometimes these things can cause a disturbance

I dont get the point of always on display. To be honest I never us it. I like it the view of it but don't see the practicality. But I would say you can use always on display if you keep the wake on wrist raise turned off. Keep both of them on is going hit battery significantly. I like to use wake on wrist raise so I keep always on display off.

I didn’t get the watch picture on the outer box, instead I got White coloured watch logo and Apple Watch engraved on box. Yes, you are bang on every aspect, like VO2 level is low for me too since SE2 to Series 10, and skipping naps too. one add one is Spatial Audio doesn’t work or support on Apple Watch with AirPods Pro even in Apple Music paid membership. Siri is still dumb and mostly respond “ I’m afraid. I can’t do that or “sorry, I can’t help you with that”.

I like the fact it’s lightweight but there are bunch of irritating things. On top is definitely the absence of nap recording. Some 3rd party app record nap time but with no insight data. Then the need to confirm automatic workout detection, requirement to enable sleep focus for wrist temp to work and limited watch faces as compared to android watches.

I don't know if it was the update or what, but my Vo2 max is 52.8, perfect. on series 10. I can say it is perfect as I run 90km a week and eveyr sunday I would have 27-28 km run. According to that this is a ideal vo2 max. Even my amazfit watch used to show 52 so I can confirm this issue is fixed.

Kindly get your vo2 max tested at a physiology lab before claiming the apple watch reading as outlier. I have read the white paper on Vo2 max by apple and their methodology is the most accurate as per research. Garmin and Samsung didn’t released any research paper on their methodology .

Ultra is more durable and I would say is better if you are mostly and outdoor person and use it in a rugged fashion, the Ultra will give almost close to double the batt life.
