Snapdragon 450 SOC is a new processor compared to SD 625. The SD 450 has Dual Volte support, also the ISP is optimised way better for dual camera and that SOC is also based on 14nm unliked older 430, 435 series the SD 450 came out in July 2017 whereas the Snapdragon 625 came out in Feb 2016.

Xiaomi is getting boring and boring after every launch. Each and every phone looks same and they have same specifications as well. They are just changing the processor and naming it as a new device,like note 5 pro,y2, a2, and now redmi 6 pro. 3-4 years ago samsung was doing same thing. They were using same design for each and every phone and it striked their sales figure, but later they come over with new designs and ideas. I think same thing will happen with xiaomi.

About the max pro m1 you are right. But about xiaomi losing market?? Nope. Certainly they have made a mistake launching this device because maybe after 2-3 months when Poco F1 price will come down by at least 2k then u can add maybe a 4-5k to the current price of this device's high end model and get a SD 845 phone along with ir face recognition.
