I'm for chery tigo 8 when it comes for warranty 3years pms free 5 years general guarrante and 1 million klm.warranty for engine whenever comes first and the price is good for to many new features not found in a Japanese and Korean cars

Style and luxury feels is what Tiggo 8 is, while functionality and power is okavango on the other hand. Price isn't that much different either. If you are more on practicality okavango will be best for you, but if you are more on feel good driving, then Tiggo 8 is best for you. Nice review again, kudos Sir Wes.!

Okavango wins for me. That's the one we bought. And that choice still leaves a sweet feeling in me. There are so many features not discussed that will surprise you when you own a Geely Okavango Urvan Plus. Autolock of doors at 30kph Car wont start if driver is not wearing seatbelt Alarm wont stop if front passenger doesn't wear her seatbelt Car wont remote lock if there is a door not fully closed Fuel cap wont open if you dont kill the engine Great automatic lamps/adaptive headlights Autohold and hill descent assist function Even wipers are intelligent

Geely okavango is a hybrid car in it's class but the car warranty is not as good as chery tigo 8 1million klms. warranty on it's motor engine but when it comes to economy okavango is top also when it comes to hybridity of the vehicle they almost the same in price

Tiggo has a smart watch. Does it also have a conventional key? Because if it doesn't, how do you intend to lend it to someone, you have to give your watch? This has almost the same vein as Tesla implementation, but instead of a smart watch, Tesla had it as an app of your phone. And when you have to lend it to someone, there is also a keycard(similar to hotel key cards) that you can hand over. Another comprehensive review! Mapapa-wow with a gasp of breath ka nalang.

It's definitely a touch choice, but it will boil down to your priorities. The Okavango provides more cargo space and versatility with the seat configurations. Being a mild hybrid also gives it an edge in terms of power and fuel efficiency. The Tiggo 8 on the other hand feels easier to maneuver due to quicker steering response. It doesn't feel that big to drive. The interior also feels more premium and the smart watch is a cool party trick. If cost of ownership is a priority, the free 3 year PMS offsets the slightly thirstier engine. You may also want to check the warranty of the motor and battery of the Okavango's mild hybrid system. See how much it would cost to change should it reach the end of its lifespan. Hope this helps.

During the comparison (2020), Tiggo seems to beat Oka due to the sunroof (basically equal at most features). But we have Urban+ now. And it leaves Tiggo by a mile now. hehe

Adding the fact that it's mild hybrid engine will give you better fuel consumption. Fuel prices in the Philippines are rising. I think that is the deciding factor.

Nothing left for the Tiggo 8 to step a bit over. With a discount the top of line okavango is only 100k pesos above price said on the video. Power, space and fuel efficient just that make the decision with the normal variant anyway, the watch is just a gadget that shouldn't be relevant on your choice. And its the first time I'm buying asian car.

Geely Okavango is a bad choice of name. Geely Okavango is a downgraded version of Geely Haoyue. It starts with 1.3M and nothing else and doesn't have the moonroof. The offer of Geely is pathetic, the automaker is very new and doesn't secure its product quality for the buyers. Chery Tiggo 8 has everything. Not sure if Chery Tiggo 8 plus coming to the Philippines, but the vehicle is superb best.
