Geert Bierling: lunchbreak concert in de Doelen

As Rotterdam’s city organist, Geert Bierling knows the Doelen organ better than anyone. The organ dates from 1968, was built by the company Flentrop, and is one of the country’s most famous concert organs. In addition to his role as a performing musician, Bierling conducts research on the 18th century harpsichord transcriptions of compositions by Bach and Handel, both of whose works we will be hearing during the lunch break concert, in addition to lesser-known contemporaries Cimarosa and Fiocco.

Leuk, de Belg Fiocco. En after talks zijn waardevol. Ook na de crisis met dit /format/ iets doen? Jonge musici die zich voorstellen? Hun verhaal vertellen en u uitnodigen mee te doen met dat verhaal tijdens een live concert? (en dan substantieel stuk muziek inspelen, niet een minuutje, of zo!)
