I"m 56 old from Slovenia and i support Israel since i was a child! back then in Yugoslavia everybody suppose to support Palestine since Tito and Yasser Arafat were friends but somehow i always admire Israel and its army and how they defeated joined Arabs armies tree times! So when i was around 14 years old i had a group of smaller children and we were playing soldiers. I told them to march in the street and chant :"Israel!" The next day school teacher called some of those children to the office and asked them why they were shouting "Israel" and they said that their commander ( it was me ) told them so! 😄

I think I’m decent (!) - a gentle Anglican priest - but having read a book called Blood Brothers by Elias Chacour, a Palestinian Christian and former Archbishop of Galilee, I can see the terrible damage which has been done to the Palestinians for the past 80 years. There are two sides to this story. Chacour spent his life trying to bring reconciliation between Jew and Christian in Palestine, despite the horrors he, his family, and his community, experienced. The trouble is that if the way Israel tries to deal with Hamas, by murdering thousands of ordinary people, then support for Hamas is just going to increase - and I think the polls say as much. And around tiny Israel there are 22 Arab countries with a population of more than 500 million people and a huge area. Arab countries have tried many times to destroy Israel through wars, attacked Israel many times, but have never been able to defeat it. Does this make you angry?

TWO STATES have already been created on the territory of Mandatory Palestine - the large Jordan and tiny Israel. Do you think it should be destroyed too?

Also, the territory of Transjordan was never actually part of the Palestinian mandate. I don’t know where the assumption that I want Jordan or Israel destroyed comes from, please explain.

So refreshing to hear a Politician/PM being so vocal about Isreal and the Jewish community. I'm from the UK and support what is happening in Israel. Hamas started this and have used the people of Palestine to hide and basically use them. I do hope this is in time resolved, but I realise it will take some time.
