2:56 Actually boomstick that's what's called an Akidogi, which is what akido practioners usually wear as opposed to a karate gi. Main difference is a Gi has normal pants while an Akidogi has what's known as a Hakama. This is mainly because Akido practitioners rely more on their upper body and usually use their legs mainly to trip or shift their enemies off balance while Gi's allow for more free movement since Karate involves just as many kicks as it does strikes.
