Note how Kishoreda vocalizes "Maine hasne ka vaada" .... Reportedly brought SJ to tears each time on that line how Kishoreda managed to get an entire universe of emotion and longing with all it's nuances into just a few or even a single Just Perfect virtuoso inflection of note, voice and emotion. Apparently SJ had indicated just a regular flourish on that line but Kishoreda took it to a different plane beyond extraordinary.... THAT is what separates him from everyone else. There will not be another like him this side of paradise!!!!

I start listening kishore ji when I was 10 years old. Specially when Aradhana came to my country( Ethiopia), that was the time I get in love with Indian movie. Since then I was stoke with Indian song. So I love Rajesh khana all my life. To tell you the truth I am 53 now, that means I been listening 42 years everyday . don't take me wrong I do love Rafi Saab,mukesh ji and others. Hindi music is in my blood.Even my wife and my children take me like crazy. But once you infected its not easy to forget until you die.

One of the best compositions by Shankarji, Kishoreji has rendered wonderfully. The tune sounds simple, but there are very subtle twists to it. Shankarji was known for his clever use of the piano to compose tunes. Dost dost na raha is another classic example.

Shankar Jaikishan must have regretted that they didn't use kishore kumar in 50's & 60's. They didn't realized his talent, his deep voice, his great vocability of singing. Not only him but all other music directors misjudged this lion and a genius talent during that era. But clouds can't hide sun anymore. Sun shined fully after Aradhana from 1969 to 1987.
