Do you know that having an extra CPU cannot render extra frames? If the GPU is maxed out, it can only render the maximum number of frames allowed by the GPU. The CPU's role is to process data and send it to the GPU for rendering. As long as there is no CPU bottleneck, everyone can achieve the same framerate. So yes Pentium G6400 or i5 3rd should cover it.

@@edwardbenchmarks I am not talking about extra CPU, its the cpu you are using, most guys with i7 or i9 at their disposable wont combine it with a gt 1030 and also 16 gigs addee into the mix, some games are cpu intensive, so naturally game will run with better fps. Basically, what am I trying to say is your total setup is not a realistic gt1030 setup, use a pentium g4 or and older i5 with like 8gigs of ram, that would give the realistic benchmarks.

So, the case of the GT 1030, which is a low-end graphics card from 2017 and not high-end or mid-range, will be sufficient even for the G6400 or i5 3rd generation. Increasing the amount of RAM will not affect the framerate since I do not have a CPU bottleneck. In that scenario, a higher frequency of RAM would be beneficial. Furthermore, we are discussing the utilization of the GPU, and I am testing the GPU, so I do not want a CPU or RAM bottleneck. Having an i7 or i9 will not put me in an unrealistic situation since the G6400 would perform just as well as the i9. How? Suppose the GT 1030 can render 1000 cps and the i9 10900 can provide 10,000 cps. The CPU will use only 10% of its power to transmit all the necessary data for the GT 1030, resulting in 1000 cps and 100 FPS. However, if you have the G6400, which can provide 2000 cps, and the GPU can still receive and render around 1000 cps, the CPU will utilize half of its maximum power to deliver all the required information to the GPU. The GPU will still render 100 FPS, but there will be a difference in CPU usage. That's the main point. You can find more information on this topic on Google, as I don't have the time to explain further.

I was recently gifted a iBuyPower PC that has an i5-11400f and 8gb ram but was using a GT 1030. Im glad to see this card can handle a decent amount. With ram as cheap as it is, I’m going to just max it to 32gb. As someone who mainly plays emulators. I would imagine this would handle xemu or pcxs (ps2) games with ease

First of all, integrated graphics these days are found in the cpu. (If I understand what you mean by “graphics that are already pre-installed on motherboards”). Secondly, if you are just browsing and watching movies you probably don’t need a graphics card. Those “pre-installed” graphics can handle these things just as well as a graphics card. If you get into the range of 4k UHD video you may need a very cheap video card to handle that but most modern day CPUs should be fine.

It doesn't if you're only using youtube for videos, but if you play games then it will as it will allow you to play on higher resolution. Since you're talking about sharpness and resolution, I'll go a little further and talk about ppi(pixel per inch). Whats your monitor ppi? recommend is 90ppi, 100ppi will be enough for a monitors as the viewing distance is larger than smartphones. Also look for ips panel or Oled/amoled if you can afford. Combination of ppi and amoled screen give that premium touch to display.

i dont remember that level of performance from a GT 1030 in some games, i mean it in a good way, i overclocked my high as possible and being stable in all games but still could not get this level of performance, probably because i had a PCIE 2.0 MB paired with an I5 4440, i mean i still have my loved 1030 and i could test it in my new system with a Ryzen 9 5950x but i need to take my 3090 out just for a lil test, probably not worth it. nice Vid. peace

Bi celeron g4900 radio ali bio to bottleneck, nema sanse da izvuce gt 1030, cisti procesor sa dve jezgre bi se strasno napatio da drzi i sistem normalno a kamo li uz to i gt 1030 da snadbjeva podatcima za renderovanje. Preporucujem G5400 ili ako bas bas nemas opcije onda ne znam sta bi ti rekao Instaliras windows 10240 build gde najmanje koristi resurse procesora i drzi se sa g4900 i gt 1030 jer ce to bit zajeban put za gaming.

On pc, it depends on fps since they combined in ue4, frameskip plus slowmo, and that can cause a lot of bugs and glitches, but using higher gpu locking framerate would help a lot.

There's no way this GT 1030 can run Elden Ring at 43 FPS. Your video now seems very suspicious to me.

GT 1030 can easily achieve around 40 FPS in Elden Ring if you set the settings to 720p low. Your comment seems very strange to me considering your doubt in my video.

@@edwardbenchmarks Nope, I owned a GT 1030 last year, and when I tried Elden Ring at 720P, it only achieved 20 FPS in areas with very low quality. Boss fights would only average around 10-15 FPS. Now, I'm starting to highly doubt the authenticity of all your tested videos.

@@vegetablebirdgmail1493 You had another version of the GT 1030. DDR4 and GDDR5 are not even close. In general, you could also have a CPU bottleneck, and not fully utilizing the GPU could be one of the reasons for the performance difference if you had GDDR5. You can doubt the authenticity of all my tested videos, but I still showed all specs at 0:00, and in many videos, I physically showed the GPU. Additionally, I have a great system for testing all GPUs and capture cards with other PCs. So, you can actually say whatever you want, but people who have been following me for a long time or longer know, and any normal person will know since all the proof is on my channel.
