Their music is Whimsical & magical. I swear, fantasy films need to hire them for the soundtrack

I laughed like crazy when I heard this, because I recognized what the guys were actually singing. It's a take on a Japanese kids' chant about Tanuki: "Tan-tan-tanuki no kintama ha Kaze ga nai no ni bura-bura" Translation: "Tan-tan-tanuki's balls are swinging back and forth, even though there's no wind" XD

Tanuki are depicted with the overlarge scrotom because of a few factors. The tanuki is quite prevalent in spring with pups so they were seen as quite fertile. They were also seen as a good luck symbol. Many old tanuki statues will have their scrotum rubbed smooth by people rubbing them for good luck. They are also said to be the source of the tanuki's financial luck.

@molybdnum You should definitely check out Can. It's a krautrock band, Tago Mago and Ege Bamyasi are often considered their best albums.

Or as a sign of strength, like how we use balls as a metaphor for power, toughness and daring.
