the need in college exam and need from cat is totally different as in former passing marks would be suffient to move to next level ...but in case of later preparing same way and getting passing scores would not let us in good b school..

sir but i have a doubt as gp sir said prepare for CAT as we do prepare for semester exams , no need to complete every topic....but i would like to ask one thing that how is that comparable ...i mean like in semester exams attending few topics covered could get us paasing marks that was desired to clear exam ...but in CAT if we do specific topics and in if questions under those covered topics would be difficult one or multidisiplanry types hard to crack one then what we will do ??? i mean passing or average percentile is not sufficent to crack CAT and to get in good B school ....as in college need is to pass the exam just passing marks is sufficient but in CAT need is totally different as with same strategy we cant beat competition and get into good b school

The 2 hour paper was created largely due to the Covid situation - lesser # of people per slot. 2 hour and 3 slots - that is what IIM went with. Given the situation now, it is likely that it is going to the case even this year. Let us wait and see
