This dude was such a menace when first introduced. It was hook liner and sinker with him. I became an instant fan, and as the show progressed, I became a hardcore fan. He was just trying to get Dazai to notice him, and it's not that I hate Dazai or anything (And I don't), but Dazai had the opportunity to coach Akutagawa, and to nuture his abilities, but he decided to nurture Atsushi, and it's not that I mind it, but Dazai still could've done more while he was still a part of the Port Mafia. Again, it's not that he didn't do anything. While he did help set a high status for the Port Mafia, I feel like Dazai could have helped Akutagawa's ability flourish. Akutagawa had to do it on his own, and he didn't get any help, which is sad. HOWEVER!!! I will say that even though Dazai didn't acknowledge and help him, he still managed to come out on top and do all of it himself, and look at him!! He literally be killing bodies, and it's so badass...😎😎

Actually, I think Dazai has done a lot for Aku. He knows Aku can perfectly improve his ability on his own, but he needs motivation (or purpose). And Dazai's approval has become that purpose, which Aku strives for through constant training and improvement. Just my opinion, but Aku is not Atsushi. So if Dazai had behaved with Aku the way he does with Atsushi, it wouldn't have the same result ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But anyway, Aku is one of my favorite characters, he's amazing❤️️

​@@gekkajuu Hey y'all, please tell me you're joking. You may love Dazai, but even if it would make Akutagawa stronger, what he did was wrong. Is it reasonable to force an orphan and sick child to be strong at a young age? Just because he has ability? See what a cruel conclusion you come to while trying to exonerate Dazai. I wish he was weak but happy, because I personally love him. Not his ability/power or whatever you like (?)

You forced a sick child into a life they didn't ask for, tortured them, abandoned them, ignored them, and now replaced them? This is anything but inspiration. It's torture.
