Starring Talya Çelebi and Cenay Türksever, "Gelin" is the life story of two people from entirely different worlds: Hançer, who gives up her dreams for her loved ones on the one hand, and Cihan, who has fire in his eyes on the other.
Hançer, who gets her name from her sharp gaze, faces an offer that will turn her life upside down. Taking advantage of the fact that Hançer is poor and has a family that will not cause trouble, Mukadder offers her to marry her son and give birth to a son. Hançer, who dreams of finding the love of her life and having a happy marriage, first rejects this offer, but when she learns that her brother has a fatal illness, she is forced to accept the offer.

I will give it to Hançer for her willingness to walk away from the marriage even knowing there are consequences. Although, it’s a foolish decision on her part. It’s a good thing it didn’t take 50 episodes for Cihan to find out Hançer didn’t take the money 💵 😂. Love that Sinem and Engin spoke up for Hançer.

I used to watch this I can't stop loving you by Aslim and Ozan but when Mirza and Leyla entered the drama I stopped because I don't understand their role in the drama and what is their connection. Their acting is not so good, especially Leyla,she's very dry and Mirza still very awkward. I love Yagiz and Eylul. ,the rating is very low. Here Cenay is already well polished in his acting.

Well I really hope she won't come back to her "husband" and in that terribile house. She didn't take the money she asked him before. She could be free from the contract she made,sacrifecing her self for her brother health and for all the debts. This wonderful sensitive lawyer is helping her very much and I really can understand why she moved from that man,that mother in low and that sad aggressive house. This dizi treats an important argument for women and how easy is imposed them to sacrifice their life,their soul,their dreams and dignity when they are poor...forced to accept any compromise for escue their poor families. At the moment this dizi is very slow...it's a pity! If the arguments should be developed in a proper way it could be a very interesting one

A very nice plot and a touching one that you cannot hardly defend yourself when you are poor. Abusive inlaws are manipulating Cehan and an ex still very entitled but has no job to help the company grrow. Maybe She was being raised by her father that way of ,no values. She is planting intrigues to Mukader. I don't think t hat Cehan do not know the real character of Beyza if they grow up together as cousins.

Compared to previous episodes, the narration pace is improving.. less of staring and silence..the characters are talking.. if they can improve the story pace, it would be good to watch.

Hancer's brother seems to be unconcerned about his debts and lacks a plan to pay them off. There's a concern that even if Hancer helps him clear his debts, he may quickly accumulate new ones, especially given his wife's financial expectations. I am not sure if her sacrifice and her financial assistance would be beneficial in the long run.

So boring! It could be a good series, with an interesting story, but there is so little action in each episode, just nerves, clenched fists, banging on the desk and Cihan's frowns and then Hancer's numbness, which is like a broomstick , stiff, without expressiveness, the same with blank and fixed looks, prolonged silences, which convey nothing, everything makes you close, not to watch, because there are already 13 episodes, which are the same, nothing new, only boredom ! The action is so lifeless, dull, Hancer sleeps on it, keeps silent with a stubbornness that has nothing to do with pride, and the approach to the script and direction is annoying. If Hancer is the one who went to Cihan to tell him that she accepts the marriage proposal and to have a child, in exchange for the money, I don't understand the meaning of the story, with this refusal of an offended, wounded woman, as if she didn't know the consequences, if she changes her mind and leaves. You stretch it too much in each episode, the action barely moved a little in 13 episodes, when it could have been contained in an alert, provocative and attractive rhythm, in a maximum of 5 episodes! You will lose your audience! And another annoying thing... Why did you make them all talk to the walls by themselves, when these monologues could be like thoughts, but it seems that the actors are not able to sustain a facial expressiveness that is in line with those thoughts, so you turned them all into incapable actors. My opinion, but I see that there are many who write the same here, that they are very bored by this lack of action and this is written in the comments of the last episodes, but they will not care. You think that if you approach the Emanet style, super boring full of long silences, blank stares, screams, punches hitting tables, you will be successful, you are deceiving yourself. People abandoned the Emanet series one by one, where even after 10 episodes, the action was still there, it didn't move at all! The viewers are very bored with this style, they want alert action that will keep them glued to the screen for 2 hours, every episode. You never manage to provoke our mind and imagination, we just yawn and want the episode to end, if we have patience until the end!
