Starring Talya Çelebi and Cenay Türksever, "Gelin" is the life story of two people from entirely different worlds: Hançer, who gives up her dreams for her loved ones on the one hand, and Cihan, who has fire in his eyes on the other.

People comparing being Naive to be Stupid are wrong. Hancer was raised by a very sweet brother, in a small village. She’s never encountered people who lie, manipulate or backstab until she married Cihan. This is gonna be a culture shock & a devastating wake up call for Hancer. Like any wife who learns the hard way her husband has lied to her. Being stupid is knowing & being experienced in lies & covert behavior & getting caught up in it. A fake pregnancy, really? Is this all you can come up with writers? I was so hopeful for this series when it started, the storyline was unusual and I thought it would be interesting to see how they developed it. How wrong I was, 64 episodes on and it is like watching paint dry. Season one was a very slow burner and now this season is even worse, I swear Turkish TV have cancelled better drama's than this one. I wish the writers would come on here and read some of these comments and learn how to play to their audience, a fast moving plot is so much better than dragging out these ridiculous scenario's, Beyza has taken centre stage since the series began and it simple is not realistic that every character bar two know about Beyza and Cihan yet no-one has revealed it to Hancer. The series has become boring and tiresome, the fact that the writers have made the two main leads dumb and clueless makes it even worse.
