Welcome to day 2 in my video series for #GelyPostcardPlay hosted by @CeriGriffiths . This fun "challenge" involves posting a 4 x 6" postcard a day that includes at least one element of gel printing and also includes a number to indicate the date the card is posted. I go over the parameters in my first video of this series but you can check out more comprehensive details by watching Ceri's video introducing the challenge: • #GelyPostcardPlay Launch
For today's postcard I am doing some botanical printing using the gel plate. I have done this many times in the past and will link a of my videos of this below but today I wanted to use blues to make the print look like a cyanotype. An actual cyanotype is done using a photographic printing solution on paper which when exposed to light (UVA to be exact) produces a blue coloured print.
