That was a wonderful demo. I just bought a GEM DSK100 (used one), so I don't have the manual. I am finding it difficult to set it up. Can somebody help me. I will be very grateful if any help is offered. Thank you.

I have GEM too - actually it's only sound module and 32 poliphony Thanks to "not heavy" but good quality samples poliphony covers all needs. Use it 3rd year and I am still charmed with it's controll system which is both simple but versatile and enlarged im my case by midi controllers. Many functions I do not use - too much to learn and remember - I record everything outside My CME hammer keys allows basic envelope and aftertouch controll to both main channels,. Floppy, HD, mic input vocoder, line input, volume pedal, controll pedal, sustain all still ok and exceptional quality. Only from time to time I have to repair controll rubbers on top and lighting bulb apparently burned had do replace - it's already 15 years old. It was a good decision to buy it.

From the GEM WK4 these keyboards are loaded full of Korg sounds. But it are still Solid wonderfull instruments years before brands like Yamaha and Roland came with this kind of features

I have owned my Gem Genesys for 11 years now, it's a fantastic keyboard. Recently it developed 2 faults, the screen no longer lights up, and now when I power up the keyboard all of the red led lights on all of the buttons light up and won't go off. So my keyboard is unusable. I live in UK and I can't find anybody to repair it as it's old and can no longer get the parts. I really miss playing the keyboard. Just wondered if anybody here might know what may be causing the faults, and also know anywhere in UK that can get the parts and also fix it? The floppy disk drive is also broken but I never really use it anyway. Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you found a fix mine just broke so I bought a gen promega 3 for 400 so I can have similar sounds and it's great and I bought a used roland va 76 for the arranger features.
