I Grinded Until I Could EASILY Defeat the Hive Mother - Core Keeper

Hello Everyone,
We got to the Iron Age, the final stage we can get before defeating the beginner bosses. We defeated the devourer rather easily but when it came to the hive mother she was pretty tough and even killed us a few times. When multiple strategies failed there was only one thing to do. Grind up levels until nothing could stop us!

wow you made have mother look so easy. I like how you used a hibrid playstyle of melee and then ranged kiting to burn her down. That gives me confidence to try to beat her on my own

I went through the same process as you, tried to dig the ground, wall the mobs out. But didnt think of the hybrid style like you. I saw them got stopped by the spike trap during explore so I went and collected more just to realize that I could make tin spike trap that deal double damage... Anyway, I turned the whole boss room into tin spike trap. And well, good thing is the mobs just kill themselves while chasing me, bad thing is i couldnt see the acid ground. Still did the job tho

I didn't even think about putting traps down, that would have probably saved me a bunch of time XD. and congrantz can you go to the new biomes now?

@@GDPDuncan yeah, i've made it to the jungle? (i forgot the name :D). Got the scarlet ore finally. But the mold dungeon is sooo annoying with the slow debuff. I've been using the fireball staff to clear the mold dungeon but still at a slow pace tho
