Indeed. The o1 pro is truly insane as well but high barrier to access due to it's pricing. However this new flash model is a great alternative.

From my tests - asking basic questions it couldnt know the answer to (ie, things that don't exist yet) - sonnet is _much_ more consistent for me in telling me it has no information about it - gemini 2 so far has just hallucinated non stop.

OpenAI is amazing. I've been using all 3 top AI companies from day 1. All 3 are amazing. These benchmarks likely do not make a difference for 90+% of daily tasks.

Just gave it a quick test - and boy does this thing willingly hallucinate. Kept asking it about versions of software that doesnt exist yet for example, and it'll just go on and on inventing stuff. Not sure how much I'd trust this for coding.
