I broke a mirror on Tuesday. Thursday morning, at 1am, my cat broke a beautiful piece of handmade pottery I've had since I was 15 (turning 51 in 17 days) and it's been in every home I've lived in since I left home. I'm going to try to glue it, but it's not a small piece... I suppose I should try to focus on the blessings I've been gifted, but none of them have been gifts. They have required hard work. The large garden took a pounding during these damn storms, so this year's harvest isn't going to be what I expected. I keep watching here and watching there and everyone's all positive this and positive that for Gems, but I'm not feeling it. At All. I just had my Chiron Return...and started smoking again. After quitting for six years (twice in my life...can't seem to make it to seven for some weird reason) I'm back at it. I'd gained 20lbs over the winter, but thankfully lost most of it from fasting and smoking...lmfao. These hot flashes aren't fun, so I'm always sweaty and cranky. Sure. It could be much, much worse. But all this happy crappy when I'm not even feeling it has me even more down. I put an egg's for sale post on my local FB page. People must think I'm freeking WalMart or something. I had one lady want five 18 packs. I told her I only had four. Didn't hear back. Wake up to some dude saying "I want six". I deleted the post. I haven't left my home in two years except for a couple of trips to the post office. I usually make my hub or son go. I just can't stand dealing with people right now. They really and truly suck. I had several people want feeder pigs. I bred my sow and ended up only selling ONE of her six babies. Now I'm stuck feeding them until I can eat them. No one follows through and are always out to screw someone over. I'm not like that and GIVE my extra stuff away, so it's quite shocking sometimes. It's why I never leave my farm. Thanks Avery.
