It says on the Gemini app that it doesn't have all the features of Google Assistant. What features doesn't it support? I still use the Assistant as i like the features of it. I have Gemini but don't use it yet because i would have to replace Assistant with it first. Also it says to use Hey Google which in my case sets off my other devices, the google hub max usually takes over and i don't think i can have gemini on that device. Google needs to allow renameing devices like Alexa does so it doesn't set off all the devices. In order for me to use it on my phone i would have to unplug the google hub max which i don't really want to do.

As far as I know, Gemini won't make phone calls or send text messages, etc. on demand, and you cannot control devices. For me, that's a deal breaker. 90% of what I use Google Assistant for, is to control my smart devices in my house. That and "Hey Google, what's today's forecast?" 😂

Yes, gemini was right with the Galaxy S24 ultra. It said 4 years of major updates and security updates for the next few years. Which would be 7 years. It just specified what the total of updates would be available
