So spot on! Gemini dealing with an emotionally unavailable Capricorn woman. She carried lots of her past baggage to our rs. I was made redundant by my company of 9 years last year in September and she was there with me throughout that incident. She showed lots of support and care and I thought we were making progress. We dated for 8 months and we were basically a couple but without a label on coz she was not ready to label the rs 😥

Absolutely brilliant! At the end of the day, it's their journey. We all have to make our own choices in life, for good or bad. It is very difficult watching someone you love making bad decisions but these may be lessons that they NEED to learn through these bad choices. The hardest thing for me is releasing all attachment to the outcome. With my person in question, I have never met someone who needed love so badly but is unable to fully accept it. I know that I can't change that. Yes, serious addiction issue with alcohol...I am hoping someday he will do the healing he needs to do so that he can move forward and have a happy life again. He did once, but addiction is a beast and it will chew you up, spit you out and then stomp on you. Another point Gabrielle made is about them not realizing what they are doing. I see a lack of insight into my person's approach to their situation. Again, we just have to let people be who they are. You can't save people from themselves. They either figure it out on their own or they don't. We can be a supportive friend and help them that way while maintaining good boundaries, but we cannot save or rescue other adults.
