That used to be “my” Goodwill! I moved to Florida in Dec 2020. My city has 3 GWs here! Sunday and Monday a certain color is $1.49 and there’s a weekly 50% off color. Also 20% off days for teachers, military, students, Seniors. They also give VIP rewards! Prices have been going up but I have found amazing things! It was fun visiting the store with you today! Good finds! Forgot to mention though clothes and shoes are taxed here though, annoying!

I would have picked up the lovely Mikasa 'tree' set, I've been looking a set to replace the ones I have now and the new patterns are mostly boring. 20:01 It's for putting a frech stick/long bread roll in, butter or olive oil in the bowl, the slits are guides for the knife. The ice bucket behind it looked pretty good.

I love your videos, I like the variety of things you look at and purchase. There are a few thrifter/resalers that it seems like all they buy is glass and small ceramic type animals. Don't get me wrong I like a bit of it but watching it all the time has burned me out on it. I now fast forward through it. We all have differen't taste and that is okay. All that to say your channel is a great mix, and you are really fun. I love to see you get great stuff and make good money on it.

Here in Australia our stores especially salvation army are not allowed to sell things that have chips or cracks in them yes it might happen when workers are putting them out or customers being rough but you take it to the counter to buy it they will dispose of it right away.

People peel off price stickers in hope of getting a better price. I think that's the reason for the multiple stickers -- to discourage that practice.

I bought a pillow cover once on marketplace. It looked nice on my phone. But she advertised it as a pillow. There was a smokie stinky pillow inside this peacock cover. It smelled so bad we went straight home to get it out of the car. And it was so worn. But I bought it for $5 and put in on my printer and copied it to make one myself.

The Barking Dog is the name of two restaurants in NYC. That design on the mug you found is their logo. There is one on the Upper East Side and one in Hell's Kitchen. I used to eat at the one on the Upper East Side, when it was on York Avenue (it has since moved to 3rd Ave). They got a bit of buzz after a few scenes from Sex and the City were filmed in one of the locations (I'm not sure which one). The food used to be very good, but went downhill after a while.

If item is not as described by seller when I go to look at it I don't have a problem saying I'm not going to buy it. Also anytime I sell something I give the buyer time to check item over to make sure it's what they want. 😊. The woman knew it was not new so shame on her.

I realize you had put time and gas money into your Nightmare (well-named) purchase so understandably wanted something to show for your effort but from my purely objective perspective, you ended up rewarding her for her bad behavior. Easy for me to say, I know! Kind of shocking that the seller hadn't laid everything out for you before money changed hands. I suspect she was playing dumb but I wasn't there...
