I think its difficult to spend too much on investment inventory right now. But, it's so good to be able to buy low when you can find it. I haven't gone to any sales as yet. The weather hasn't stayed good. I think there's a church sale this weekend, so perhaps the season will start soon. The antiques store I have some shelves in, it's a huge store, was totally empty today. No one coming or going for hours. The economy has been stalled. It's good you have some places to shop. I'm guessing your Ebay sales have been good because of your variety. Thanks Tina!

Last summer I picked up a Scrabble game that is like the Risk game you got in the wood box. It was $8.00 and looked new. I kept it but still have not played it. My ex-husband and I used to play often but he's been gone 16 years and I never replaced him. 😉

17:58 Crazy high toy prices in "comps" are always a hassle. I never did well with ANY toy like this . I believe trends COME and GO on "insane toy prices" . Every single time I find a toy like this - I list it for LOWER and it sits ..for 2 or 3 years. One person said "only list the toy(s) before Christmas". Then take them down if they don't sell. Maybe THAT's the key ?

The problem with rich people area sales is 1) the homes tend to be newer so nobody moves IN to a house with 30 years of clutter . 2) Rich people usually hire people to clean and haul , so there's that. 3) Sometimes rich people think YOU make the same money they do. LOL. so at a sale noting is going to be a quarter . 4) No "FREE" boxes in sight.
