I'm really enjoying this series. Navy is my main neutral in fact it's replacing black in many instances. I love how you paired so many colors with navy. My favorite way to wear navy is with white or red. I'm on the hunt for a navy purse.

I like all the ones you mentioned, although I am super selective of the shade of navy I wear with black. To me, it works best when the two are distinct enough that it doesn't look like I got dressed in the dark and made a mistake.

Thank you for all the great color combinations with navy! A few months ago I purged all my black clothes. At 67, black was zapping me of my energy and it was not a good color near my face anymore. I've always loved navy but had gotten away from it through the years because of the lack of availability in the U.S. for many years. During the 1990's and early 2000's navy was nowhere to be found. I'm over the moon now that navy appears to be in abundance. And, I'm also loving having chocolate brown in my wardrobe again.

Hello Gemma! Another great video. I love navy and have many pieces. It works with any season of the year. Navy and white for a summers day,navy and orange for a fun day. I'm so glad that you mentioned navy and green, it's a favourite of mine but I always remember that cruel classmate when I was very young that said "blue and green should never be seen!" and that prevented me from using those two colours together for a long time. You should wear more green. It’s lovely on you. My favorite combination for spring is grass green with navy. I also love lavender with sage green and navy. My favorite for fall is a camel blazer and matching cashmere top with navy trousers and a luggage brown bag. So elegant.

I love your outfit idea videos - they have given me so many ideas about how to use what I have in different ways. I love that you use classic basics which I already have (or something similar) or give me an idea that would be a good timeless and versatile piece to add to my wardrobe. I’m definitely not a trend person, and so many of the fashion blogs and videos out there are based on trends, so I’m glad I found you. It’s hard to find a color navy doesn’t look good with - it’s such a lovely color that can go from dressy to casual so easily. I love black but I think the starkness of it makes it a bit less versatile than navy. I actually don’t think black goes with everything - I think navy deserves that distinction more. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I’m not a pastel person myself, so all of the other color combinations I loved. If I was to pick a favorite, I think the navy and burgundy is exceptionally beautiful. I recently ordered a navy satin button down blouse like the one you featured - thinking it would be lovely with dark jeans. I never thought to pair it with black jeans like you suggested, but I will have to try because the pic you shared looks gorgeous!

I’ve always worn navy, it’s never wrong. Even now that I’m older and my hair is now steel gray, it still works. My favorite shoes are always navy loafers as I am a jeans and white shirt gal still. I have a lovely structured navy handbag that is absolutely classic. I have two lightweight navy knit blazers that pull any outfit together. Just bought a knee length navy/green plaid knit sweater jacket. It’ll look terrific come autumn. I’m in Alabama, USA….our winters are not very long or usually very cold, I rarely wear my navy cashmere A line winter coat. If you’re unsure of adding color to a navy dress or trousers, a pure white button up shirt or a soft cream sweater will never steer you wrong. Jewelry, a good handbag, and fabulous shoes will take you anywhere. 👍🏻👍🏻

That’s what I’m wearing today, my khaki green silk cargos, a white top and my navy blazer! It’s finally blazer weather here in California, well almost, I always jump the gun a bit because I love autumn, winter and spring layering. I always get the fashion blues in our scorching summers, they’re more about getting through the heat than anything else, like during the heat wave you had in England this last summer.

I like navy & lime, but tend to wear it with rust the most. I'm very pale so white is a no for me. Lilac looks great with stone/pale sand by the way. Would love to see an olive colour play - it's my fave colour, with burnt orange a close second.
