Beautiful watch. Because of smart phones & fitbits, watches have become an over looked accessorie. But I still love them as functional jewelry. I've been trying to find a midtone camel coat but haven't had any luck yet. I have black & grey covered already but would love to add more warm neutrals back into my wardrobe. Browns are supposed to be "in" but black or grey is still the most common color it seems. I need a break from both for a while after wearing them so many seasons in a row.

Can anyone suggest where to get a 100% wool coat? I find that the wool blends do not keep me warm enough.

It is indeed getting harder and harder. Max Mara is the gold standard, but quite pricey. One of their classic coats would last you a lifetime. Manufacturers say they add synthetic fibres to help the wool keep its shape, but the high end brands don't seem to need to do that. Good luck.

I am just curious, when you show outfits with coats do you mean to wear the coat indoors as well? I live in Canada so it is very rare that we would walk around outside with our coats open, to create an outfit.

Hi Linda, I am also Canadian and have visited the UK numerous times. Their climate is more moderate than ours and they often don't have central heating at home. So they do indeed wear indoor-outdoor outfits for much of the year. We would die of heat in boiled wool indoors, for example. Hope this helps!

I had a similar watch but in silver with the metal strap. it was bought for me around 1970. it disappeared from my home. Have no idea where it went but was of sentimental value. I don't even know what make it was as I didn't pay any attention to things like that. the face was oblong but it was the strap I liked.x

Brown is the color this season, so why the heck aren’t manufacturers offering anything in brown? I do have a Ralph Lauren brown/tan genuine suede skirt, it has some (fairly subtle) Western details, but I think I can make it work. I like your way of styling it, I will try the black turtleneck, if we ever get Fall or Winter again here (San Francisco area). It’s been 95 to over 100F here for months (we have “microclimates” here in the Bay Area, because of the ocean, mountains and bay; I’m less than 10 miles from the Golden Gate Bridge, but its’s 20-25F “less mild” - hotter in summer, colder in winter). We do have four seasons here in California: flood, fire, earthquake and riots! Old joke from the Rodney King riot days.

Wonderful, as always. I don’t know - cropped blazers are in style - you might be able to get away with your old one, even though it’s not as cropped, I think it looks good in your outfit. I’m holding out on buying any blazers until the huge, super-long and over-sized, straight-cut blazer trend is over. They just don’t work on me. Also they are a big investment, I used to be able to get a, beautifully-cut, wool one, with a non-polyester lining for under $200, those were the days! I wish I had saved more of them! I would love a brown checked one, too.
