Now THAT is a base, it tells a story, adds to the design, and ties into the character. The pose is classic Magneto and though I prefer his purple costume, that white one is pretty slick and stylish.

Great review, Gem Mint, thank you! I was wondering what your thoughts are about how this compares with the SS Magneto Maquette? I am torn about which one of the two to add to my collection...🤔 Overall, it looks like XM did a great job with the sculpt, paint, and base of this white Magneto. He seems to have a great presence! That being said, the power pose of the SS Magneto maquette looks great, and the sentinel head on the base along with the purple and red colours of his suit is a great classic look for him! If you can let me know your thoughts! Thanks!

Yo Gem that piece you mentioned having brass in it that you weren't sure about is a tank track. That big green sprocket on the left of the piece and the smaller green wheel toward the center is what the track rides on. That green piece of pipe next to the track is the tanks gun barrel. That base is insane

Great video 😎👍 I like the overall presence of this piece, but the white costume seems almost too clean IMO. I think that if they added a black or darker color wash it would really bring out all those great sculpted details.

Here I am 3 years in the future and had to rewatch this video because I’m still on the fence for it since it’s still in stock here in the states. Since he has worn this costume in the new era of Dawn of X Krakoa it’s still a relevant piece. I actually like this more than any other Magneto outside of the OG on Throne. The new XM Mag that doesn’t come out anytime soon still has not grown on me.

The after market price for this white magneto dropped down to a lot!! I've seen many sellers selling this piece from about 550USD to 650USD. I guess a lot of collectors are put off by the sheer size of the base and the overall weight of this statue.

Hey Gem awesome piece dude! Loving the white suit but damn this is a complicated sculpt. How the hell did they produce such a beast? Helmet head is my fave not keen on baldy,looks like he blended with Professor X! A mega 10 out of 10 from me Gem. Are there any Fantastic 4 XM pieces out there?
