Wholeheartedly, a challenge that incentivizes handcrafted creativity like this is nice to see. There's also the dynamic where there may be pokemon you'd like to catch, but know would be difficult to make, so the choice is much more important.

I love this series. I'm Gen X, so my introduction to Pokemon was via my son. He collected the cards and played the games starting with GameBoy Advance. My Mom actually picked up a GameBoy Color with the Pokemon Gold and Silver games at a yard sale when my son was around 8. We have loved Nintendo since my family owned the NES. We have owned every console, including the handhelds, Nintendo has ever made. We have a lot of happy memories around Nintendo products, and watching the Pokemon cartoons.
