OMG. Ok. Check this out. I did not get a notification for this video. I still have not viewed it yet. I do not have a TV at home, and choose what to watch via internet (lots of KZbin). So, out of the blue, I was watching all these new American Idol audition clips. After at least 20, I SAW GEN and immediately recognized you. For some reason, my eyes welled up with tears. It was amazing. I have been watching you all, for over 2 years. I have left comments. I used to learn my harmony parts for worship team, by using the lower harmony that Corinn usually does, with that awesome lower register. I have to be honest, it scares me a little, when true believers venture out into "Hollywood" territory. We had a young lady, some years ago, leave church to pursue "Idol", and never came back. It's weird how you connect with people you see on KZbin. I'm not even your age, but I feel like you're folks in my neighborhood, and I'm connected. We sing the same songs, and believe, so...Anyhow, I saw Corinn and the whole family run into the audition and congratulate, so I know you are in good hands, and I trust the Lord will protect you. Again, imagine my SURPRISE, when I saw the "Idol" video. I had no idea, when I saw Gen, I was flipping out. Watching the judges faces, everything. I felt like an "insider". Like, "I know her!". The song even mentioned God. As of right now, that video had 443 comments and 311,823 views. I jumped over here to leave a comment, and I see this announcement. I will pray, and I am rooting for you. I am also waiting for more Christian covers, and the harmonies. Gonna watch this video from Tamara too. I hope you see this, and consider responding. God bless. : )
