Thanks to Gen Tenzin la And all of the staffs taking care of hundreds Tibetan children during that difficult times I was one of those kids. I was around eight years old at that time. I remembered Gen Tenzin ka used to wear ordinary dresses From there 50 boys and 50 girls sent to kashmiri House now Nyari Rinpoche family lives there From Kashmiri house all the boys were sent to Dalhousie through Pathankot I still remember we were given tea and big yoshang Bali ( puri) for lunch It was in 1964 I started going to s chool first time At the time Gen Tenzin la there was another teacher named Gen Samten la He was also not a monk Those time indian still used Anas There.are 16 anas in one rupee One or two Ana could buy many things that time

Yes I was one of Tibetan children of those time. I remembered Gen Tenzin la, Samren la And Ani Cho la when we were moved to Kashmiri cottage now resident of Nyari Rinpoche family Without such cares Tibetans in India would have no education and basic livelihood

My profound gratitude towards those senior citizens who had sacrifice their comfort and hardship without prejudice..They sincererity and dedications are so genuine and phenomenal..Its privilege to have those selfless individual..They deserves our blessing and appreciations ..To be honest, words seems so puny and worthless to define their services and generoisity ..GOD BLESS THEM .....My RESPECT

In her book " Tibetan Foothold", Dervla Murphy paints ugly picture of corrupt tibetan officials in 1960s who pilfer rations and TB medicines sent in aid. Does CTA still function like this? It is very sad and evil of them. I pray that they go to hell not.
