Yeah, she’s absolutely gorgeous and INCREDIBLY marketable in The Boys Universe. In S3 of the boys, Starlight mentions having almost 200 million followers on Instagram. Emma’s KZbin has 1 Million followers. Those 1 million, I assume, follow her as fans of her and/or her content. Irked me just a little that they showed her scrolling and seeing only negative comments on her video in the first episode. I hope her body image drama is dropped after these first few episodes entirely. They’ve already touched on it enough and played out the obvious with how randoms started treating her after her secret got out, and nail in the coffin with her already having the guts to go against her mom and tell her to fuck off. They really don’t need to do much more with her in that arena IMO, really because she’s already kinda grown past that from what they’ve shown. I know having an eating disorder and being trans or non binary are VERY different topics they’re spoon feeding commentary on, but Jordan’s character and powers are so much more interesting and a fresh perspective on those issues being addressed. What they’re trying to say with Emma already feels dated kinda. To further agree with your point Emma’s story so far is only slightly pushing my disbelief simply because she is so fucking pretty. Like the people coming up to Marie for selfies should’ve been chasing after Emma from the start if they’re so fame obsessed. Marie doesn’t even have socials or a phone, and they really haven’t made it clear the general public knows she has these weird ass Blood powers. Marie gets Jordan’s credit for “saving the day” and fighting Golden Boy, but people also know that he killed himself as it was caught on video by multiple bystanders and Andre calls it a murder-suicide later, she didn’t defeat or fight back against Golden Boy at all for the cameras to catch, so it’s kinda goofy she’s getting all this attention. I get it for story reasons but is everyone fucking stupid or something? NO ONE ELSE in the school, who’s been seeing the almost unbeatable #1 hero train for YEARS, is like “hey wait how did the freshman no one’s ever heard of stand any kind of chance.” Golden Boy RIPPED that one guys arms off and multiple people recorded him standing down and then killing himself. Where in the TL did Marie and Andre become the new biggest heroes when everyone saw them kinda not really do shit at all.

I like how they mentioned all of the A-Train sneakers are signed on the bottom and the signature wears off after use. This means first that they had A-Train use his powers to personally sign the entire inventory of sneakers! And thus having the shoes signed is pointless based on where they put the signature… you either wear them and it wears off, or you keep them as collectibles and the only way to admire the signature is to look at the bottom. Instead of his powers and fame being used for good it’s just a pointless good/commodity for money.

One thing that really threw me off was Golden Boy started having those visions of his brother, then started to think he didnt self destruct himself as a kid. Then at one point we see they were in the woods 3 years prior to the current story. Its then implied later that his gf probably erased his memories about that whole thing but then when Andre shows her the picture of Sam in the woods she reacts like its the first time shes ever seen it but she was there with Golden Boy 3 years ago?? Might have mixed up the scenes or something but i think golden boys gf ( cant remember her name while commenting) is in on it like the old polarity is very clearly in the know about the woods

Yes Kate is so emotionally mature and good her BF died and she screwed his best friend a whole 24 hrs later. I was glad to see golden boy seemed like a good person who only went along with the whole deal to appease everyone depending on him, I was hoping he was going to make it to the boys and be an ally to starlight and the boys, and he actually seemed power enough to atleast survive a confrontation with homelander, but seems his brother sam is no slouch either so 🤞. This show has started off with a bang and I hope it only gets better. Also as a slight correction, you said that Supes aren’t able to have kids. That is the technically not true. In Season 1, we saw how Mesmer has a daughter and in Seasons 2 & 3 that Stormfront and Victoria Newman also had daughters, Stormfront even saying that Frederick Vought gave her a daughter, which implies she gave birth to her daughter not adopted her. What I think you are confusing this to is when Homelander said he believed he couldn’t have kids, which isn’t much of a ‘All Supes are infertile’ but rather more Homelander was believed to be infertile. Supes can kids, they just won’t have V in their systems. That’s why Ryan is so special because, as Stormfront said, he’s the first ever Naturally born Supe.

14:50 in theory .. Marry should be able to do all sorts of things with the blood powers - when she killed her mom, blood became a solid projectile - we saw a "blood explosion" when she killed her dad - she mostly uses a "blood whip" from that she should be able to creating solid weapons, armor or barrieres out of blood also "blood bend" / puppeteer other people (and keep them alive) or just explode them the blood she is using is flying around - that COULD mean she is able create floating blood platforms, (maybe even make herself fly ?) and when there is enough blood around she should be able to create a "the shining" like blood floodwave
