This is a great song! I remember "Hooked On A Feeling" done first by the late B.J. Thomas in 1968. It was later done by Jonathan King in 1971 & Blue Swede in 1974 who both added the "ooga chaka" part. Tim Foust (from Home Free) recently did a collaboration with The Bass Gang on this song. You may want to check it out.

Being Swede, I've listened to this for nearly 50 years by now. Still love the voice of Björn Skifs. He's the one who become Billboard nr 1 twice , with the same song. 40 years apart. First in 1974, then 2014 as his version was in Galaxy. The Bass Gang version with Tim Faust is highly enjoyable, though my heart belongs to Björn. You just don't change an idol after 50 years. He still is going strong, though he does not perform that extensively nowadays. 1974 was a good musical year for Sweden. ABBA started their career by winning the Eurovision with Waterloo and Björn topped Billboard.
