Nope. No layering. It's all one take with one VERY acoustic instrument. Even the wood is acoustic. That's why when you buy one of these, they build it with the specific wood you want. I'm dying to know her microphone setup to see how she captured these luscious sounds-

Absolutely nothing is layered in this song. In some of her other covers she loops or plays over a track but this one is all from her in one take, one recording.

Very intresting instrument, like 12 strings that should mean like 3 octaves and she had nice hand work but where did her tremolo bar go? Pretty nice but Tommys version is more crazy, he plays with one finger, normal, from above, with his teeth and some more haha.
