Lil Wayne, himself, said he studied the first albums by Biggie, Jay Z, and Tupac. It was when Wayne found out Big and Jay didn't write their lyrics down (all off the top of the head), he stopped writing and started doing the same. Ironically this is when Wayne's became the lyrical beast he is

Great reaction! You can't go wrong with any Biggie track, but there is an original and a remix version of "One More Chance," both of which are legendary and actually pretty different from each other.
@njnatl09 Жыл бұрын
Nice reaction man Big was throwing shots at Nas in opening verse as well as end of third. No real beef just some competitive whose the king of NY type thing. It was also some shots throwing that Raekwon and Ghostface from Wu-Tang and a rapper named Jeru the Damaja. Definitely would like to hear some more for Big I'm subscribing just off that strength one of the greatest.. Somebody's Gotta die NIGGAS Bleed I got a story to tell All three of the songs really really shows his storytelling ability which I think separates the 90s early 2000s from what we hear now. Its almost like watching a movie with his words on these songs. Also please checkout WHAT MORE CAN I SAY- by Jay-Z. Definitely a top five from him and one of my favorites I guarantee you will enjoy and won't be disappointed..

Bro, I'd have to disagree with you there. Biggie is often imitated but he can never be duplicated. Since March 9th 1997, "ain't no em-cee, comin' close to the, NOTORIOUS B.I.G, babe, babe!!!" Review "The What" by the The Notorious B.I.G feat. Method Man.

@cibida16 ай бұрын
I think a lot of ppl miss that line because Great Adventures is more so regional. 6 flags is around the country but each one has a different name. Great Adventures is the one in Jersey as I’m sure you know.

Because back in the days late 80s 90s... Hip Hop was about making beats as an "art form" and as important as being a LYRICIST! If you had the skills to write "ILL LYRICS" you were a rapper with skills... that when they started "rap battles" rap lyrics weren't just rhyming but also telling a story... your story, their story and what you went through in life! Being a "lyricist" rhyming telling a story!

This was sad to watch. You missed the lyrics, the duality of the story he's telling. You even got the 10gs of blow to 30gs a show etc wrong. You talk about "old heads" we actually listened to the lyrics and Biggie was the greatest at rap lyrics EVER. NO CAP for you young folks...

The 80's wasn't talking that violent shit. It started in the 90's but it was just raps, outside of the studio most didn't carry that persona. Folk with foresight was talking shit then because it was obvious what it was leading to. For instance, Mobb Deep video coming on one day, I'm early teens 14, 15 maybe and Prodigy was like "this for the killers and the $100 billers, real niggas who ain't got no feelings", I was like why tf he giving them props? I knew then this shit was headed down the wrong, if I was older I would have knew when Self destruction came out, they tried to warn us. Point being the road progresses or regress. Rappers now actually killing people and rapping about it all while telling folk hard drugs are cool. It's maybe difficult to tell the difference to young folk but old heads know.
