Growing up the pro move with Charleston Chews was to freeze them and then smack them against something hard to break them into a bunch of tiny pieces and eat it like that. After trying it like that I was never able to go back to eating normal room temp Charleston Chews.

When it comes to old candy, it seems like, some of them is, hit or miss. All of that aside, I didn't know that Boston baked beans was a Chicago candy, and that makes me feel more special, based off of, I'm a chicagoan. Boston baked beans, was my favorite candy growing up. I'm glad that you can still get these candies today.

I'm going to pretend I'm not old enough to have immediately recognized Mark Summers... Circus Peanuts are still one of my favorites, along with Candy Corn, both of which gets me laughed at... Charleston Chews are better right out of the freezer. I still eat a bunch of Atomic Fireballs. Accept absolutely no substitutes. I've had them by other companies and they tasted truly horrific. I've never before thrown out $20 worth of candy. There were two other kinds of candy cigarettes. One was something like a Lik-Em-Aid stick, and the other was chocolate. Floral flavors don't belong in food. No gum. No mints. And no ice cream. I had rose ice cream at an Indian (or Indonesian) restaurant once just to try it. It tasted horrible and I smelled it on my breath for HOURS. I've never been drunk enough to puke as much as I did that night.
