We hoard our wealth, and just as wickedly, we hoard our time! We share only a tiny fraction of both with our brothers and sisters who are in dire need of our help. “Yes, I know the imprisoned need some kindness tonight, but... I'm going to watch Netflix!”

 “I know the homeless could use some laughter right now, but... I'm going to open TikTok!” Then, when we FINALLY perform some small act to help others, we make sure to talk about it! After all, what's the point in being good if it doesn't make us look good? We all could be so much better, but we choose to be vile and selfish. We choose to share almost no love with God's children-and we brazenly dare to expect God's infinite love in return?

We were "children of wrath by nature (= deserving of God's wrath) just like the rest (of the unbelieving world). But God who is rich in mercy made us alive in Christ - by GRACE you have been saved..." (God, Ephesians 2:3-4). God is holy, we are not. He makes us holy by uniting us to Christ (who is holy) by faith, and even faith is a gift because we are rebels that need new hearts (Eph. 2:8-9). We are made in His image in that we are relational, think, feel ... capacities we share with him. But we are inward bent by our choices and our original parents' rebellion (Ecclesiastes 7:29; Romans 5:12). Bless you.

Psalms 47: 6... Sing Praises to the GOD, sing praised unto OUR KING...!! This young woman is singing to the LORD, and that is all that matters to her.... such a beautiful sound to the LORD as she lifts her voice to HIM ALONE! I am in my 60s now, but use to sing as one of the lead singers in worship at our mission church in Ohio. I remember how it felt to get lost in song as the Holy Spirit would consume my soul lifting up to the King! As I was watching this beautiful young "winged" singer, it brought back memories of what it's like to not be singing to a congregation (crowd), but to the LORD! Praise and Glory to God, our King! I hadn't been to church in a while and yesterday they sang this song after the service. Sometimes when the Spirit moves they let anyone who wants to stay behind, stay, while the second service is waiting to begin. This song came and I hadn't heard it yet. I haven't experienced that level of ministration through song in a while and it was very refreshing. I'm glad I stayed back and now I keep coming back to this cover. God heard and answered my prayer that I yearned for his presence. I know that song is not the only form of worship, but I'm an aspiring singer myself and song gets me right to the point of worship. Keep on praising Genavieve! The Lord is watching and will keep rewarding you for all you do. I am back to this song again. Was writing my finals exams last year, thinking I was done, that there was no freaking way I will be able to make it, better yet, in the way that I did.
