Gender-Based Violence Action Plan

The Safe and Supported Gender-Based Violence Action Plan brought together partners from all facets of society to address a complex and pervasive issue. This finalist in the Partnership category was built on trust and safe respectful engagements that generated new ideas and built on existing supports. The 3-year action plan prioritizes Indigenous and community-led actions to reduce gender-based violence, with a commitment to maintain the partnership through 2026 to evaluate shared progress and advance new work.
