There’s pressure on both genders but they are different. For the male gender it’s mostly financial pressures but for the female (pressure to act a certain way , not do some certain things to please the society, pressure of raising family ( getting married, kids etc )

Tbh there’s a lot of pressure on the future child compared to males 1. Girls in some part of the world are not allowed to get an education 2. female genital mutilation 3. There was even a time women were not allowed to drive in North Korea although they’ve changed the law now 4. Getting looked down at your place of work because you’re a woman believe or not but it happens. I know a woman who got promoted to be a director at her place of work and a lot of men had problems with it because they feel that they shouldn’t be taking orders from a woman. Even at that most bosses ask women for some disgusting things in order to get employed or even a promotion. They’d rather pick men for big shot jibs over the female. 5. Being to ambitious as a female is not also allowed, most mothers hate their female child to be too ambitious so that they can get married which is very stupid 6. Look at politics sef most women don’t even have the chance to do that because they are feeling 7.if you look at the culture and traditions in Nigeria infact Africa sef being a woman sef has a lot of limitations compared to men. Women aren’t even valued, people still prefer the male child over the female child 8. If a woman doesn’t give birth it’s automatically her fault, they start raining curses on her and advice the man to get another wife without if considering the possibility of it being his fault, if the woman gives birth to a female and not a male it’s also a problem. Honestly it’s really frustrating 9. Giving birth alone is another stress, carrying a child for 9 months isn’t easy most useless men just impregnate girls and abandonment them to live their own life. While the female child lives with the stigma, drops out of school and suffers to raise the child. She has to go through the pain of giving birth believe it or not even with the fact that most men are educated some will never allow their wife give bite their through CS they’ll say that she’s lazy she would give birth like a Hebrew woman blah blah not considering her health or if the baby would even people to pass through her Vijay not every woman’s own is expand enough for a child to come out she can even bleed to death do you know how many women have even died from it alone. Even if they give birth through CS the recovery isn’t easy sometimes doctors even forget scissors or cotton wool inside the woman. 10. If anything should happen it’s automatically the woman’s fault 11. A lot of women suffer from domestic violence and they’re expected to keep shut and leave with it why because they’re women and the man is always right and charge 12. Being a woman alone you’re already at a disadvantage, people won’t listen to what you have to say why because you’re a woman take a look at the work place not only in Nigeria but also abroad there’s a lot of discrimination against women 13. Child marriage,sex slavery etc Honestly no one has it easy. Women do not have it easy and we need to delete that thought from our mindset. Being a woman is actually very scary

In this Episode, i watched the four of you (well mostly 2) try to argue who has it easier but the fact is we all don’t. We all have pressure But the pressures society has put on the both genders are quite different From a mans perspective, the pressure they face compared to a woman’s is 70:30 While from a woman’s perspective it is 70:30 too but the man has the lower Percentage On the long run the pressure we face are 50:50 but because of the fact that we’re seeing from a different angle does not negate the fact that there’s still pressure. The pressure might be different but it is there. So rather than trying to see who has more privileges we should try to understand and plan how to tackle some of the Pont raised in this episode eg 1. The neglection boys face from childhood 2. The compulsion young girls face from childhood to learn certain things because of their future husband 3. Pressure of providing for the immediate and extended family on boys, (everybody carry your cross) You can add your own below too so we can educate ourselves

The thing with the amount of pressure is that the amount of pressure placed on a man reduces greatly when they get to a certain income. Obviously, not all men can get to that status. But a woman of the same income as a man will still face the same pressures as a poor woman. The pressures placed on a man are more financial but a woman is scrutinised at every point of her life, financial and otherwise.

They are neglecting the male child at the same time putting so much pressure on the female child. Yea it might be training buh sometimes the female child is put under some much pressure that she can’t even express herself. It sometimes feels like a cage and in most cases the outcome of the training is really bad. Love this show, it’s giving me some kind of vibe❤️❤️❤️
@vibeswithevelyn__43322 жыл бұрын
So in my opinion I think the pressure on a male child is the same on a female child. It an equal feeling cos personally as a female I feel a lot pressure, I have to take care of my family ,and it’s the same for my brother, we both feel it . So to me it’s 50/50.

The major pressure men go through is the financial pressure. It’s a big issue and honestly shouldn’t exist. For women, the pressure spreads across different things. If a woman makes too much money, she’s an ashewo. If she dresses some sort of way, she’s calling to get raped, if she aims higher, she’s asked to lower her gaze because society doesn’t expect her to be too ambitious. If a woman owns a business that is making waves, it means she’s codedly selling her body to make her business boom. This thing you’re calling training is basically damage, because if she doesn’t know how to cook she’s called dumb, she’s beaten, she’s insulted and so many more. If she washes and it’s not neat, they will call her names and it damages her.

Thank you for this episode....this is the best for me....the neglection of the male child has made them turned to be PREDATORS....wolves that are left to hunt on their own and are not guided well enough....so many expectations on the female child and when we fail we are questioned like how did we miss it.....Gaffy you made so many huge points and I'm getting to understand the feelings of the male child....like I don't feel safe around any guy even to my brother....it has gotten to that extent....at the end of the day...wen we have children..let's all train them together

aside from financial pressure on men... what's the other pressure on men?
@hilsonwilson71332 жыл бұрын
Also Gaffy talking about women have it easier when it comes to work lol.... yes easier when it comes to occupying inferior roles... but what about the big roles? the MD roles? the political roles? the roles that actually are a big deal... how many women have it easier accessing there? Now, aside from working, women also have hotly responsibility and child care... in sociology its called double burden, so in reality the woman is working twice. In some if not most homes, the woman is the bread winner and because of societal and religious and traditional pressure, the woman covers that up for her husband because 'you cannot bruise his ego or make him look less of a man'. Historically, women have been marginalised and have gone through so much oppression and neglect. But yes, y'all can act like the female oppression history only started in 2021.... it goes way back... there wouldn't be any need for feminism if women and men have always been equal! So honestly think about this!
