My gender reveal my sister made us cupcakes - she had taste tested the centres before she arrived and didn’t realise she had blue filling on her tongue and lip so I knew from the minute she walked in the door. I pretended not to see but after when we’d all cheered I started laughing and told her - she was mortified and to this day it’s one of our favourite stories for our fourth child George :)

Congratulations on the baby boy. As the mother of a daughter and a son I can tell you that just the fact that you have a healthy baby is truly all that matters. My daughter is older by 4years and she adores her little brother who is now 21. Being their mother is truly the greatest blessing I’ve ever received. My favorite memory of my children is of my daughter holding my son on her hip when he was maybe 7 or 8 years old and Savannah asked Ethan what was he going to do when he was to big for her to hold him and he said “cry”. My heart melted right then and there. 🥺🥰

My 18 month old son is Ezra Jonathan ❤ One thing I've learned about choosing names throughout the years is that it helps to pay attention to trends. The Aiden names really exploded and now everywhere you go you hear Brayden, Kayden, Jayden, Aiden, Hayden.... I only say this as an FYI! You choose whatever you want and in the end, when that unique little person begins to embody his name, nothing else will matter. Congratulations!!! I know exactly what you mean when you talk about knowing his soul. Growing human life is the greatest privilege.

So excited for you, MaKenna and Romeo!!! I cried when you both cried in the first video, and I loved everyone's reactions. Sooo great! I had a girl for my first, but then I was ready for a boy. We did indeed have a boy on #2, and he is 29 yrs. old now. Our daughter is 31 yrs. old. They are a lot of fun and we had a lot of fun as they were growing up! We had tea parties and Mom baked lots of scones, muffins and such for breakfasts. Only our son has a son of his own (going on 4 yrs.). Our daughter is happy just being auntie. It's so much fun creating the nursery, picking out baby clothes, knitting or crocheting things, picking out a crib and getting the mattress, decorating for the birth and then redesigning as your baby grows and lets you know he likes dinosaurs, trucks or something different. 💙 Enjoy the process and rest when you can. The times you are tired are nothing like the tired you will feel over the next year after your baby boy is born. It's just a dig-deep time, but is over pretty quickly! You learn to pace yourself, like anything else in life. 💞 Here are a couple of name possibilities to consider: Tristan and Milo. Our little guy is Milo. :) Congratulations again and we look forward to seeing how the nursery comes along! OH, are you feeling the little flutters like butterflies yet? Just wait until he is big enough to figure out where his head and back are... I used to rub my babies' backs as best as I could when I was pregnant. I also never considered that we'd have a boy!! We have tons of nephews and no nieces so I wanted to bring a girl to the family and was convinced we were having one. Of course I tried to prep myself for the reveal but admittedly when I saw blue I was bummed. That only lasted a couple of days and now I am so so SO excited to meet our little boy! Only 2 more months until he is here!!

I’ve loved the name Rhys ever since reading ACOTAR. I also love Sutton! We’re on the same page as far as name feel. I can’t wait to see what you decide and I’m thankful you gave us names to tide us over lol. I cannot wait to see your spin on a nursery and I’m just so damn overjoyed WITH y’all. A million congrats fam 💕

Congratulations, I could not be happier for the two of you. I remember the thrill after 4 1/2 years of trying .There is nothing like it!!! You are right about being able to share with your child everything you used to enjoy when you were younger. You see the world through your childs eyes a new.❤

@@shinynickel29 Why are you reading the comments of a gender reveal video before watching it?? That's on you.

As a boy mom myself, you’re going to love how much that little boy is going to be obsessed with you! I never knew that kind of love before, my husband and I have been together for 13 years and the love I have with my son is incomparable. He is just simply my world and I wouldn’t have had it any other way ❤

This. Yes. As a boy mom to a 5yo...the amount of snuggles they give.

@@chanelc924 I feel sorry for your daughter. It pains me to read these comments every time someone reveals they're having a boy because 'boy moms' are so quick to denigrate girls. It's shocking. You're not loved more because your child's a boy, you might love them more and that's YOUR problem.

@@Lilah1848Thank you! All these comments glorifying boys (well actually men) are embarrassing. As a person who works with kids half of my life it's really painful to see so many women not knowing gender has nothing to do with how affectionate or talented or brave a child will be.

Congratulations!!!! I am a mom of 2 boys, and I have to say, it was fun raising them. When I saw the video on the pregnancy, I knew you were having a boy. My mom has always said that a girl takes the beauty from the mom and you are just glowing. Congratulations again. I am so excited for both you and Romeo….Kinsley too

Just a reminder that boys and girls can love sports and rollercoasters! Even if the gender reveal showed a girl, Romeo could have still been excited for those things 💛💛💛

Totally agree. I was a bit surprised to hear this after how much she talked about how girls can do anything and the podcast episode on being a woman in a renovation project.

You have such a beautiful and supportive family, on both sides! It’s really so wholesome. My heart still squeezes when I hear your moms voice when she said “I prayed for this” ❤ Ezra is a name in my own list too, I love the meaning behind it of being a helper! My friends decided on their babies name out of their top 3 after looking into the meanings of all of the names and finding that the one meant “a safe place.” She didn’t quite use the words “knowing his soul” but she said she had always felt that he would be a safe place for others, a peaceful and strong presence, and so she wanted his name to reflect that. I see names as a kind of blessing or affirmation that you speak over someone’s life whenever you call them. I’m not putting this on you as well, but it might be special to look into the meanings of the name you guys think you’ve settled on.
