I enjoy camping more than Andrew does 😆. The mosquitoes are something to deal with for sure! Hope you’re doing well. We appreciate having you join our Journey! 🙂

I did a lot of Spring fishing up & around the Soo. Batchawana Bay Hotel provided us with more Smelt Lunches & Dinners than I can recall. My friend's camp was near the Montreal River. We caught Rainbows and on the Upper river we caught Speckles/Brook Trout. Got chased by a bear & we tossed our caught fish to keep her busy. Lots of great places to visit & always fun times.

Wow!!! Other than the “chased by a bear” that all sounds amazing! Even the bear account gives a great story to tell since it ended well. Thanks for following our adventures. Hope you’re enjoying a great week!! 😎

Beautiful area! Might be time to pickup some OFF or citronella torches. LOL

This is definitely my kind of beauty! Love this countryside. Either a can of Off or bring along my other grandson. He’s smaller, tender, and should satisfy the mosquitoes! 😂 Hope you’re doing well Chaz!! 🤠

Sault is archaic French for waterfall. It is pronounced the same as the word "so" but shorter. Modern speakers mispronounced it, much like "Favre" or "Orleans" in the US.

Interesting. 🤔 I know that words and their meanings change over time. From what I’ve read, as an English speaker I would find it very difficult to even understand much of what would have been spoken in England during the Middle Ages. Thank you for sharing our adventures with us! We hope you’re having a great week!! 🤠
