Gene Mills is soooo funny. If you have ever seen his techique videos they are sooo funny. I hope I can meet him some day. What a wrestler!!!!! Oh, I tought my kids his "stack half" and my kids would crush people, one of my kids transferred to a very good wrestling school and became the schools all time wins and pins- Columbus, H.S.- Florida. It’s cool to see him do the same things in high school that he used throughout his amazing career. That short drag he keeps going to and that half series that he perfected and was once considered bad form as the announcer described “ half while opponent is in his base”. I learned wrestling in 76’ we were taught to break down man, run half….. intro the “Mills half series “. Changed the game! For sure, thanks Gene Mills.

I was a weight higher than Gene in the NCAA’s for 4 years. Only guy I’ve ever seen hitting on the chicks at the scorers table before the match! Even in the 1/4 finals! He was a good sport and always smiled. Cool guy
