Gene is always just so amazing I love his music and his voice all my life I can remember seeing him in Houston when I used to tag around with my older sister and go to where he would be singing and playing and I was very young still a teenager I fell in love with him then and I'm still in love with him I'm praying to God that I get to see him one more time before I pass my health is deteriorating pretty fast but I'm praying that he comes for close to where I am so I can go see him one last time and be able to hear that beautiful voice God God bless you for all the beautiful music we are all so fortunate to hear your beautiful voice truly an amazing person truly someone to go down in history for being the greatest of the greatest God bless may God keep you always.

Hi Cynthia,I was fortunate enough to have seen gene live at church street station in Orlando Florida in 1979 when he released Carmen, which I consider to be his best song, in those days it was commonplace for the artists to mix with the audience and I was lucky enough to have met the great man as I did many of the great singers and I feel very privileged to have had that opportunity, as on later visits to the U S there was a noticeable decline in the great singers still living, I was supposed to do a trip in 2021 and had booked to see gene Watson while there but covid put a stop to that , but here's hoping , cheers from Tasmania
