1:43 I totally lost it laughing! I've been hoping to plan reunions for a few families in my tree and this was the part I wasn't sure how to do. Very helpful. 4:44 I'm not sure if you have ever checked out Geni but that is a great tree building software for collaboration.

Thanks so much for the tip on Geni. It has been suggested and I will take a look. And I'm happy that you enjoyed my impression of my grandpop. Everyone else, was very gracious. His sister felt like the queen of the reunion. She was very happy to receive the award.

I love to see you both (Shamele and Floyd) talking together about what you have done, what you remember, and what you plan to achieve together -- humor and mutual respect. That photo backdrop is a great idea -- especially the part about asking people to go there straight from the registration desk. Somehow we always have people missing from our reunion photos, but maybe we could catch them before they start having too much fun and before the toddlers get ketchup on themselves. The scavenger hunt that causes people to get into conversation with others outside their own branch is terrific. How do we get the shy teenagers to get to know each other? Maybe we need to plan some work details that force them to work together (lightly)? Any ideas?

Marian Koalski thanks so much for watching and ur kind words. Getting teens and youn adults involved can be challenging. One thing that Floyd does is to involve them in the planning and trust them with their ideas. When I was in that age group he encouraged me and my 1000 ideas. He just helped me to settle on a couple and guided me to success, (when I would let him). Not all of my ideas worked out and I got myself in a little hot water but family is forgiving. So involve them and allow them space .one yr at the reunion the young adults and youth stared a rap contest. It was completely unplanned, all ages participate. So in short, involve them in planning.
