I also did the same mistake, Williams was my first purchase now I regret it. But when I purchased Williams (it was years ago), there weren't any biographies and other generals like Manstein and Jhukov had 5 fixed skills . These generals were basically at the same level as my Guderian or Konev , that's why I guess I looked at Williams's skills and were amazed.

I like Williams, great general for taking out bulk, as long as he's on stuka du fuss, he can destroy weaker troops, splash stronger troops and clear an area before usually being able to move again to attack more

Eichelberger is actually a really good general. Him and Zhukov would do more damage than Zhukov and Konev. So in situations there you use 2 or more artillery generals you should use him.

Yeah that’s true it’s just the reliance on being with someone else because tolbukhin can stand his own whereas eichelburger struggles

A question about ribbons : Do you put ribbons on the generals immediately , or.. ?? Cuz for example , if I put level one ribbons on a general , and then I get 2 more ribbons , I can upgrade these ribbons , but because there is already a ribbon on a general , I can't upgrade the ribbon Should I wait until I upgrade most ribbons to start putting them on generals , or should I start putting ribbons on the generals now ?

You should put ribbons on generals when it’s bronze/silver but you are able to take these ribbons back off to upgrade them, I would prioritise only your best generals getting ribbons and trying to get the highest level ribbons you can

The golden nametag generals like Bock or de Gaulle is actually technically free to play(If I understand right you meant that free to play mean no need to use real money so technically he free you just need medals and patience or time to wait until free box restock and you get new items)

I think Chernyakhovsky is the strongest general because his ability if you have a group of enemies you can ez decrease their hp just by destroying the weakest units

Yea there must be something wrong with my generals, im going to mess around with your generals. My highest damage tanker is abrams with 980, and my biggest damage makers are marshall at 1250 and simo at 1000. Im interested to see how much more efficient my gameplay may be with these tweaks

I have wolfpack on darlan too, but never use him, Chenault is eco general to, got him yesterday, could be kinda god, especcially with his first perk,when used on enemy generals, if my Abrams do not wanna get counterattacked by them. I use Abrams as my first general, but idk, i like him, because he can do al lot, but Manstein is also so god , especcially on elite forces, so maybe i will put the excellence medal on him, but at the moment, i use them in double combination, like Abrams with Tolbukin and Manstein with Bock, if possible and Manstein oneshots most enemys besides generals, while Abrams can make enemys stupid quit fast. Eichelberger can be quite good, if you can have him together with an top arty general, but yeah, Tolbukin and Marshall are just better, Haya on Phantom or Hawkeye is a banger, love this guy, together with Marshall he can work if tanks are not good in the Situation

With the AOTUE Perk of the Hawkeye I think having hayah on it is better than putting him on any other elite inf, I prefer malin on the phantom ngl

Another thing, try Simo Hayha with Hawkeye force, place him (in combination with this elite) in grid within a forest (jungle or forest, doesn't matter) and try to shoot at any units, he's ridiculous how much damage he can do, he can one shoot a king Tiger (i put on him the infantry medal too). The best general in the game imo
