My father would play Congolese music throughout my childhood and General Defao definitely stood out among the many artists, especially this song and his dance moves. I used to hate this music as a Ugandan child growing up in England as my dad would play it all the time but as an adult I come back to these videos to remember my father who passed. I love Congolese music and hope they dominate African music once again as they gave us live instrumentals, great vocals and even better dancing. R.I.P General R.I.P daddy.
