Reason why many look up to obviusly evil people from Fiction like 2003 grievous, Emperor Belos, Sombra from Mlp , Hyde and obviusly Joker is not sympathy but villians sense of ambition, devotion and just cool points. You want to be bad ass and silent like Grievous but not literally him. Villains have that sense of drive and general respect for being so much of themselves many adore villians
